🧡 Walking the Path Together: Honouring Truth and Reconciliation with Archway Community Services

PUBLISHED IN SEPTEMBER 2026

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our Abbotsford team recently had the privilege of coming together with Archway Community Services and their Youth Resource Centre.

Truth and Reconciliation Day (Orange Shirt Day) is a vital time to pause, listen, and reflect on the tragic legacy of the residential school system, honour the Survivors and the children who never came home, and commit to meaningful, ongoing action within our local communities.

As part of our commitment to supporting the invaluable work happening in the Fraser Valley, our team presented a donation to Archway’s Youth Resource Centre to help support their dedicated programs for local youth.

In return, the team at Archway deeply touched us by gifting our team a framed Land Acknowledgement, featuring an image of the local canopy taken by Archway youth and staff:

This beautiful piece now holds a proud place in our facility, serving as a daily reminder of the land we work and live on, our shared history, and our ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team at Archway Community Services for the warm welcome and for the vital work they do every single day to uplift and support youth across Abbotsford.

Every Child Matters.
